RAD Children’s Furniture is a family-run workshop based in Los Angeles, California, designing imaginative, movement-rich furniture and play structures for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted in small batches here in Los Angeles, with a hands-on approach that ensures quality, safety, and care.

Our mission is simple: to empower parents and caregivers to support children as whole people from day one. Inspired by developmental philosophies like Montessori and Pikler, our designs encourage independence, creativity, and healthy physical growth. From our Montessori-style tables to the only certified Pikler® Triangle in the Western Hemisphere, each item is made with care, purpose, and durability to last through years of play and discovery.

Founded in a garage and now thriving in a dedicated space in Inglewood, RAD has become a trusted name in gross motor development furniture. We partner with other small American businesses for tools, materials, and maintenance—supporting local economies while reducing our carbon footprint.
