Why Families Choose

This is truly the cutest, most beautifully made Montessori shelf I’ve ever seen! The instructions were clear and simple, the finish is flawless, and the tiered design gives it such an elevated look. It holds nine toys perfectly for rotation, and I love that the mounting hardware is included. Amazing quality—I'll definitely be coming back to RAD for future furniture!

If you’re reading this and considering this table…BUY IT! I’m so pleased with the quality, it’s heavy! The responsive and helpful team at RAD kindly left my order unfinished so that I could apply stain and I’m pleased with the result. It arrived so insanely well packaged, that alone must have taken them hours. This small, USA business doesn’t take any shortcuts. They define craftsmanship!

We are all very happy with our balance beam. . . i bought it with the two year olds in mind but all ages (up to four) are using it . The wood is beautiful and safe and i sometimes use it in my Social Emotional class to entice the children in the door!

The build is well thought out for easy assembly and they provided a hand tool plus a bit for powered drill which was a novel addition from my experience with mailed assemble at home furniture.

The shelf itself is sturdy, smooth sanded for safety, and looks really nice in our space.

The capacity is great - with our shelf currently holding 40 books (about 16-17 clearly visible covers and others set behind for rotation) - and feels like it will last for years to come as we see our little one grow into an independent reader.

Certainly a product I would recommend and makes me more likely to look at buying their other stuff in the future!

I have bought every variation of these shelves online from other whatever random retailers on Amazon, and these blow all the others I have out of the water in fit and finish. Plus I am supporting a local company! was so cool to go meet the people behind the company and pick up the furniture in person.

This tower is great. We bought the double tower for our 3.5 year old and 1 year old. They fit perfectly on it together with room to spare. It is incredibly well built, great quality and very sturdy. We've had towers before but this is by far the best one yet. Thank you team!!!

This shelf is the perfect size and height for my young child. She absolutely loves seeing her books displayed, and can't wait to go pick out her favorites for story time!

The quality and care put into the design and build are top notch. It was also easy to assemble, and included helpful hardware (wrench & drill bit options are great). We're very happy with this shelf, as well as the other items we've purchased from RAD!

I don’t know what I was expecting, but this blew away any of my expectations. Beautiful piece of furniture that is appropriately heavy (feels very solid), and books fit perfectly. I thought shelves may be too narrow for some of the bigger board books based on pictures, but there is plenty of room as shelves are deeper than I thought. It was super easy to assemble, and it came with an a hex wrench and drill bit. Drill bit was a super nice touch and made assembling even easier. I could assemble it as one person who has limited assembly experience. If you are new to assembly, like me, make sure to install an anti-tip kit! There are instructions on RAD's website, or on youtube. Our child absolutely loves this and I was able to assemble the entire thing very quickly. So beautiful and so happy with it! They love running and picking their books and it helps them (and us) by removing visual clutter. She loves picking out books even more now that they face forward and makes book rotation easier. Added a picture so you can see.

We got the learning tower for my baby turning one and he absolutely loves it. When he crawls into the kitchen he immediately climbs up it and loves to look around. It also motivates him to stand unassisted for long periods of time which I think is getting him more confident to start walking. I’m also really impressed how quickly he learned to crawl up it and back out without any help. I’m so glad we have this I can see it being a household favorite for a long time!

This is my favorite thing in our house! Our infant daughter loves it so much! She sits at it easily since we have the 8” legs attached currently. She plays with all kinds of open ended play objects on it. And the bonus is, when they fall on the ground, she can pick them up herself! Once she is eating more finger foods, we look forward to feeding her at this table. And we bought the other lengths of table legs so it will grow with her.

Our 8 month old already lives exploring this triangle. It was super easy to assemble myself with the video. I know there are other, less expensive triangles that are tempting to buy but the quality and customer service of RAD is unsurpassed. We feel great knowing we have given our child a quality handmade play object that supports a small local business!

I had previously purchased a kid's table for my 18m old, and it was too big. This is the perfect size for a toddler, and I love that I can just change out the legs when she gets bigger. So well made and beautiful in my home. It is a great size: plenty of space for her to eat, do cooking projects, and arts and crafts, but small enough to move around the house as we need it. My favorite purchase of the year for my daughter.
