How many books does the Bookshelf hold?
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Shipping estimates are available on each product page. These indicate when the item will be shipped from our woodshop in Los Angeles. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, and transit may take up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. Please note that our team does not operate on weekends and federal holidays. Orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next business day.
Is assembly easy? Tools? How do I assemble?
Our furniture requires minimal assembly, needing only an Allen key, which we provide along with online instructions. If your order includes over 20 screws, we'll also include hex drill bits to make assembly quicker. An electric drill could be useful but isn't necessary. You can find all our assembly instructions here.
How should I clean for my RAD furniture?
To clean your furniture, use a non-toxic mixture of vinegar and warm water. Spray the surface and immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Never soak or immerse wooden furniture in water as it can cause the wood to swell and deform.
Can I use my furniture outside?
You can use your furniture outdoors but don't leave it outside for longer than necessary, as it's not designed to withstand extended exposure to outdoor elements. After use, wipe down the surface with a dry cloth. Leaving your furniture outside may void your warranty.
What is your policy on returns and exchanges?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in their original packaging. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or replacement. Please note, customized or assembled items are non-returnable.

The build is well thought out for easy assembly and they provided a hand tool plus a bit for powered drill which was a novel addition from my experience with mailed assemble at home furniture.
The shelf itself is sturdy, smooth sanded for safety, and looks really nice in our space.
The capacity is great - with our shelf currently holding 40 books (about 16-17 clearly visible covers and others set behind for rotation) - and feels like it will last for years to come as we see our little one grow into an independent reader.
Certainly a product I would recommend and makes me more likely to look at buying their other stuff in the future!

As soon as books landed on the shelf, our kiddo was excited to crawl over and start engaging with them. The shelf is sturdy, fits a good number of books, and fits well in our space. The anchoring hardware that was included works great. Highly recommended!

I teach Kindergarten and I ADORE this shelf for displaying all of our monthly read aloud books! It’s the perfect height for my students, and is beautifully made. Easy to assemble, and will absolutely be a staple in my classroom for years to come.
It can be easily assembled within minutes. The space is large enough for so many books for a eager reader. The texture is smooth and solid that no safety concerns occur.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but this blew away any of my expectations. Beautiful piece of furniture that is appropriately heavy (feels very solid), and books fit perfectly. I thought shelves may be too narrow for some of the bigger board books based on pictures, but there is plenty of room as shelves are deeper than I thought. It was super easy to assemble, and it came with an a hex wrench and drill bit. Drill bit was a super nice touch and made assembling even easier. I could assemble it as one person who has limited assembly experience. If you are new to assembly, like me, make sure to install an anti-tip kit! There are instructions on RAD's website, or on youtube. Our child absolutely loves this and I was able to assemble the entire thing very quickly. So beautiful and so happy with it! They love running and picking their books and it helps them (and us) by removing visual clutter. She loves picking out books even more now that they face forward and makes book rotation easier. Haven’t been able to assemble it yet so can’t review the finished product. No instructions in box, and scanning the provided QR code yielded instructions for a list of products but not this one. Frustrating

I had been looking for a Montessori style bookshelf for some time, and finally found this one. I love it so much that I ended up getting two of them because we have so many books! It looks great and is super functional and it really gets my toddler engaged in picking out books.
Love the book shelf, amazing work, smooth and heavy wood. My 3 year old like the way how easy he can reach his books. My newborn will be learning by looking at him, his oldest sister and I doing the same, developing love and passion for reading. I put it to my garage that I turned into a Montessori room for my kiddos!
My 19 month old loves this bookshelf. It’s beautiful in our space and would highly recommend it for any home or classroom!!!
