Figgy Play Couch | 7-Piece Modular Play Couch

The Figgy Play Couch is a modular play couch designed to encourage movement, creativity, and open ended exploration. From a raft on the high seas to a treehouse or rocket ship, its seven movable foam pieces invite children to bring their ideas to life.

Designed by moms and made in the USA, Figgy combines comfortable seating with opportunities for active play. Four equally thick base cushions connect with hook and loop fasteners, helping children build and rearrange their creations. Two rectangular bolsters and one wedge expand the possibilities for forts, obstacle courses, and cozy reading spaces.

Every Figgy Play Couch includes waterproof liners to help protect the foam from everyday spills and accidents. Removable, machine washable covers and hidden zippers offer practical details for busy family spaces.

👶 Age and Developmental Use

Designed for ages 1 through adult, Figgy offers possibilities that evolve with your child. Younger children can explore movement and simple building with adult support, while older children can experiment with more complex structures, imaginative play, and collaborative projects.

Rearranging the pieces invites children to explore balance, coordination, spatial relationships, and problem solving through play.

Built safe. Tested independently.

Every Figgy fabric is third-party independently tested and certified free from harmful chemicals — because kids shouldn't have to be exposed to toxins when they play.

CertiPUR-US® Certified Foam

The Figgy foam core is CertiPUR-US® certified, analyzed by independent accredited laboratories. That means Figgy foam is:

Made without formaldehyde
Made without phthalates regulated by the CPSC

Is the Figgy actually worth the price?

Yes — and parents tell us this is the first thing they say after they own one for a few months. The Figgy is made in the USA from CertiPUR-US certified foam with commercial-grade zippers and GREENGUARD Gold certified fabrics. It's built to a furniture standard, not a toy standard. When you factor in a 10-year warranty and how much daily use it gets, the cost-per-day is pennies. Cheap foam couches last months. Figgy lasts a decade.

How is Figgy different from other play couches?

Three things set Figgy apart. First, velcro connectors — Figgy is the only play couch with them, meaning pieces stay together during play instead of sliding apart. Second, uniform foam thickness on all four base pieces, so every build is stable and level. Third, the 10-year warranty — no one else in this category offers it. And every Figgy is handcrafted in the USA, not imported.

What age is it for? Will my toddler actually use it?

Figgy is designed for ages 1 through adult — and we mean adult. Toddlers love climbing and jumping on it. School-age kids build forts, obstacle courses, and reading nooks. Tweens and teens use it as a sectional couch. Parents use it as a chaise lounge. The whole family uses it, which is why the 10-year warranty exists — it's furniture for a family, not just a toy.

Which fabric should I pick?

It depends on your priorities. Performance Microsuede+ is our most popular — it's stain-resistant, ultra-soft, and holds up beautifully to daily family life. Luxe Velvet is our most luxurious, with a rich texture that elevates any room. Flatweave is our pet-friendly option — woven tight so pet hair brushes right off. Corded Plush is our coziest, most tactile choice. Tennessee Cotton is hypoallergenic and breathable. All fabrics are GREENGUARD Gold certified and machine washable.

How do the covers clean?

All Figgy covers zip off completely and go straight in the washing machine. Cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Most families keep a second cover so there's always one ready when the other is in the wash. Covers are available in all fabric and color combinations as individual purchases.

What if my family doesn't love it?

We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy. If you and your family don't love it within 30 days, contact us and we'll arrange a full refund. In practice, our return rate is extremely low — most families are using it every day within the first week. But the 30-day window is there so you can try it with complete confidence.

What is the 10-year warranty?

Figgy warrants the foam core against deterioration for 10 years from date of purchase — the longest warranty in the play couch category by a significant margin. If your foam breaks down or loses its shape under normal use, we replace it. This is possible because we use commercial-grade CertiPUR-US certified foam, not cheap import foam. It's a genuine warranty, not a marketing line.
