The RAD Labyrinth is a Pikler inspired movement piece designed to support gross motor development, curiosity, and exploration from the crawling stage through early childhood. With its open, inviting form, the Labyrinth encourages children to move freely, explore confidently, and engage their bodies in purposeful play.

As soon as children begin to crawl, the Labyrinth becomes a space to navigate, pull up on, and cruise along. Infants and toddlers use it to practice balance, coordination, and strength, while older children continue to explore it as a climbing structure, pathway, or imaginative play environment. The design offers just enough challenge to inspire confidence without overwhelming young movers.

Handmade in our shop from premium Baltic birch wood, the Labyrinth reflects RAD’s commitment to thoughtful design, quality materials, and sturdy construction. With 3.5 inch spacing between rungs and a strong frame that supports at least 250 pounds, it is built for active play and shared use.

While designed to encourage exploration and free form movement, children should always be supervised during use to ensure safe play.

What age is the Labyrinth for?

This children's Labyrinth is suitable for crawlers to 4 years old.

Although our products encourage exploration and active play, please never leave your child unsupervised to ensure safe use.

What is the weight limit?

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Shipping estimates are available on each product page. These indicate when the item will be shipped from our woodshop in Los Angeles. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, and transit may take up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. Please note that our team does not operate on weekends and federal holidays. Orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next business day.

Is assembly easy? Tools? How do I assemble?

Our furniture requires minimal assembly, needing only an Allen key, which we provide along with online instructions. If your order includes over 20 screws, we'll also include hex drill bits to make assembly quicker. An electric drill could be useful but isn't necessary. You can find all our assembly instructions here.

How should I clean for my RAD furniture?

To clean your furniture, use a non-toxic mixture of vinegar and warm water. Spray the surface and immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Never soak or immerse wooden furniture in water as it can cause the wood to swell and deform.

Can I use my furniture outside?

You can use your furniture outdoors but don't leave it outside for longer than necessary, as it's not designed to withstand extended exposure to outdoor elements. After use, wipe down the surface with a dry cloth. Leaving your furniture outside may void your warranty.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in their original packaging. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or replacement. Please note, customized or assembled items are non-returnable.
