The simple design of the Platform and Ramp is excellent for developing motor skills in infants and toddlers. They can use it to practice up and down movements or approach balancing and propelling. As your child's skills develop, they can maneuver the platform and ramp in various ways. The platform can also be flipped over for different uses, including a climb-in box or play area.

The Platform and Ramp design simplicity may be deceiving but both are excellent for the practice and development of motor skills. Where infants and toddlers may enjoy them for practice of up and down movements, they also represent a territory to conquer. They can own the space or share with siblings and friends.

Some toddlers and children may wish to use the ramp to approach balancing or pulling up and propelling along more cautiously. Daredevil toddlers and children tend to climb right up the platform but prefer to come down the ramp. As your child's skills develop, let them discover how they best wish to maneuver this exceptional balance tool. You can also flip the platform over for use a climb-in box, a makeshift storage area, a hiding place or sectioned off play area. Other uses are as varied as your child's imagination.

What age is the Platform and Ramp for?

The Platform and Ramp is suitably aged for newborns and older. Infants can use the platform for early movement development and sensory exploration. As children grow, toddlers and preschoolers use the ramp for climbing, sliding, balance practice, and open ended gross motor play.

It is a versatile piece that supports development through multiple stages, from early infancy through the early childhood years.

Although our products encourage exploration and movement, please never leave your child unattended to ensure safe play.

What is the weight limit?

The Platform and Ramp easily support up to 250 lbs.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Shipping estimates are available on each product page. These indicate when the item will be shipped from our woodshop in Los Angeles. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, and transit may take up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. Please note that our team does not operate on weekends and federal holidays. Orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next business day.

Is assembly easy? Tools? How do I assemble?

Our furniture requires minimal assembly, needing only an Allen key, which we provide along with online instructions. If your order includes over 20 screws, we'll also include hex drill bits to make assembly quicker. An electric drill could be useful but isn't necessary. You can find all our assembly instructions here.

How should I clean for my RAD furniture?

To clean your furniture, use a non-toxic mixture of vinegar and warm water. Spray the surface and immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Never soak or immerse wooden furniture in water as it can cause the wood to swell and deform.

Can I use my furniture outside?

You can use your furniture outdoors but don't leave it outside for longer than necessary, as it's not designed to withstand extended exposure to outdoor elements. After use, wipe down the surface with a dry cloth. Leaving your furniture outside may void your warranty.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in their original packaging. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or replacement. Please note, customized or assembled items are non-returnable.
