The Sierra House Bed by Purveyor 15 is a best selling house style bed inspired by the landscapes of Sierra National Forest in Central California. Thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted, this bed creates a cozy, imaginative sleep space while offering flexibility and long term durability.

Designed with both independence and security in mind, the Sierra House Bed features a two rail boundary along the head, foot, and back of the frame. The rails can be installed at a height and spacing that works best for your child, providing gentle containment without closing in the space. The bed can be assembled as a floor bed or with legs, and optional slats allow you to choose the mattress support that fits your needs.

Handcrafted in the USA from clear grade, locally sourced poplar wood, the Sierra House Bed is built using a pocket hole assembly method that has been trusted in over 30,000 beds. This proven construction approach ensures strength, stability, and straightforward assembly.

Each bed includes a number 2 square drill bit, clear instructions, and access to video assembly guides, making setup smooth and well supported from start to finish.

About our Poplar Wood:

  • This is an all-natural wood product. There may be slight color variance between pieces. We use a clear-grade poplar wood, which is by definition defect-free but may contain a few smaller, less noticeable knots. 
  • At times you may receive a piece that has a green tint to it.  This is because we mill the wood down in house revealing a layer to light and air for the 1st time.  This will fade to light browns and tans within a few days depending on airflow and UV light in the room.

All P15 Beds are shipped from Purveyor 15 in Ozark, Mo. Orders are typically shipped within 3-5 days and arrive with 4-7 days of being shipped.

How long does it take from purchase to receiving my item?

Processing time varies because of how many orders we may receive in a given time period, but we are not in the habit of being late! It's important that you refer to the shipping time noted in each separate listing, as this is the actual lead time.

Can you paint my bed?

We don’t paint any of our beds, however your item will come sanded and ready for paint. We simply don't have time, mostly due to the packaging and protection process necessary to ship painted items.

What tools are required for assembly? Is it difficult?

The tools required for assembly are found in the description of each item for sale in the shop. Most beds require a phillips (+) bit and #2 square bit and cordless power drill. You can get these square bits at any hardware store, even WalMart. We use these square bits because they don’t tend to strip out like the standard screws (+). Assembly with the required tools is fairly simple with the instructions provided and 2 people.

Do you accept returns on beds?

We do not accept returns because of the time, effort, and cost associated with making and shipping these large items. However, if there is a problem with your order, please contact Purveyor 15 directly via email purveyor15@gmail.com and they will provide a solution very quickly.

I ordered the wrong size, what do I do now?

It is important that you are sure of the size you are ordering. In the case you order and receive the wrong size, there is a 30% restock fee, and the shipping is not provided for the exchange or refunded from the original purchase.

Missing pieces/instructions/screws:

We try our hardest to ensure everything you need is included in the box. However, we are not perfect! If you are missing anything, please contact Purveyor 15 directly via email purveyor15@gmail.com and they will provide immediate resolution.
