The Grow Stool, a versatile and innovative piece of furniture that grows with your child. Portable and intentional, it offers comfortable seating for meals, crafts, and games.  With two sets of easily replaceable dowels, the stool adapts seamlessly as your child transitions from toddlerhood to preschool.

The RAD Grow Stool grows with your child from toddlerhood to preschool. Each stool comes with two sets of easily replaceable dowels so your child's favorite stool can grow as they do. The dowels not only make the stools more readily transportable for smaller arms, but they also foster intentionality. Children can sit in ease and comfort at any of our tables for meals meals, crafts and games.

The RAD Grow Stool serves as a stepping stone, a stage or your child's own mini Parthenon. When table time is done, the stool becomes an object for open-ended play. And when they're ready to change location, the dowels provide an easy grip for children to carry to their next adventure.

Included in the box are (1) Stool top and bottom, (1) set of Toddler height dowels, (1) set of Preschool height dowels, Screws and tool for assembly.

This product ships unassembled. Easy assembly with provided tool.

Although our products are crafted to encourage exploration and free-form play, please never leave your child unattended to avoid injury.

What age is the Grow Stool for?

The Grow Stool is designed to grow with your child from toddler age through the preschool years. It features two adjustable height options. The 6.5 inch setting is ideal for early toddlers who are beginning to sit independently, and the 11 inch setting works well for preschool aged children who need a comfortable, supportive seat for tabletop activities.

Because every child develops at their own pace, choosing the right height is best guided by your child’s knee to floor measurement. If you need help selecting the right setting, feel free to reach out.

What Table does it work with?

The Grow Stool is designed to pair with multiple table heights. It works well with the 13 inch Toddler Height Tables when set to the lower 6.5 inch seat height, and with the 19 inch Preschool Height Tables when adjusted to the 11 inch seat height.

What is the weight limit?

The Grow Stool supports up to 200 pounds.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Shipping estimates are available on each product page. These indicate when the item will be shipped from our woodshop in Los Angeles. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, and transit may take up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. Please note that our team does not operate on weekends and federal holidays. Orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next business day.

Is assembly easy? Tools? How do I assemble?

Our furniture requires minimal assembly, needing only an Allen key, which we provide along with online instructions. If your order includes over 20 screws, we'll also include hex drill bits to make assembly quicker. An electric drill could be useful but isn't necessary. You can find all our assembly instructions here.

How should I clean for my RAD furniture?

To clean your furniture, use a non-toxic mixture of vinegar and warm water. Spray the surface and immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Never soak or immerse wooden furniture in water as it can cause the wood to swell and deform.

Can I use my furniture outside?

You can use your furniture outdoors but don't leave it outside for longer than necessary, as it's not designed to withstand extended exposure to outdoor elements. After use, wipe down the surface with a dry cloth. Leaving your furniture outside may void your warranty.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in their original packaging. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or replacement. Please note, customized or assembled items are non-returnable.
