Skoolhaus Wooden Chair

Our Skoolhaus Chair is generally suited for children ages 2 to 5, although the best fit depends on each child’s individual height. The most reliable way to choose the correct size is to measure from the back of your child’s knee to the floor.

Our Preschool Chair has a seat height of 11 inches, and ideally your child’s knee-to-floor measurement will be close to that. There is a little flexibility, and since children grow quickly, it is often better to choose a size they can grow into.

The Skoolhaus Chair works with any of our tables when paired with the 19 inch Preschool Height table legs. This height provides the ideal seated posture and ensures a comfortable, ergonomic fit for young children using the Preschool Chair.

The Skoolhaus Chair can easily support 200 pounds, which makes it a great option for adults who want to sit with their child during activities, reading time, or meals. Despite its compact size, it is built to be strong, stable, and long lasting.

Shipping estimates are available on each product page. These indicate when the item will be shipped from our woodshop in Los Angeles. Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground, and transit may take up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. Please note that our team does not operate on weekends and federal holidays. Orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next business day.

Our furniture requires minimal assembly, needing only an Allen key, which we provide along with online instructions. If your order includes over 20 screws, we'll also include hex drill bits to make assembly quicker. An electric drill could be useful but isn't necessary. To clean your furniture, use a non-toxic mixture of vinegar and warm water. Spray the surface and immediately wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Never soak or immerse wooden furniture in water as it can cause the wood to swell and deform.

You can use your furniture outdoors but don't leave it outside for longer than necessary, as it's not designed to withstand extended exposure to outdoor elements. After use, wipe down the surface with a dry cloth. Leaving your furniture outside may void your warranty.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in their original packaging. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or replacement. Please note, customized or assembled items are non-returnable.
